TAPS represents more than 6,500 Payroll
Officers from Australia's leading private and public sector employers. We
are not a union, but rather a forum for the payroll industry. We provide
specialised payroll training courses, an informative bimonthly journal,
regular meetings for members with professional speakers and a technical
National Help Line Service.
The Federal and State taxation authorities regularly use TAPS as a two-way
conduit when researching the marketplace. We are playing an increasing role
as a lobby group and are seen by the regulatory departments as the voice
